Apostle Dr. Anika R. Taylor
Dr. Anika Taylor is a devoted wife to Pastor Tyson L. Taylor, mother, grandmother, author, entrepreneur, and founder of The Worship and Deliverance Center. Although raised in church, she fully surrendered her life to Christ in August 1992 and immediately sensed the call of God upon her life to preach the Gospel. In February 1993, she preached her first sermon titled “Cease Not,” marking the beginning of a powerful ministry journey dedicated to serving God and His people.
Over the years, Dr. Taylor faithfully served in many areas of ministry, including youth ministry, Sunday school teacher, women’s ministry leader, youth president, assistant pastor, secretary of ministerial alliances, and church leadership support. After years of faithful service, she answered the call to pastor and has been leading in ministry since February 2008. She is known as a pastor after God’s own heart with a deep passion for worship, healing, deliverance, restoration, and biblical truth.
In 2016, Dr. Taylor was consecrated as a Bishop, and in February 2019, she was affirmed as an Apostle. Her ministry carries a strong apostolic and prophetic mantle focused on equipping believers, restoring wounded lives, breaking generational cycles, cultivating authentic worship, and advancing the Kingdom of God through truth, prayer, and spiritual transformation.
In this hour, God has called Dr. Taylor to raise up spiritually mature believers, to equip leaders for effective ministry, to bring healing to broken families and individuals, and to boldly confront religious bondage through the uncompromised Word of God. Her ministry emphasizes deliverance, discipleship, inner healing, identity, and helping people walk fully in the purpose God has ordained for their lives.
Dr. Taylor is also an accomplished businesswoman who has successfully owned and operated multiple businesses. She holds two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Finance and one in Psychology. Two Master’s degrees in one, Pastoral Counseling & Life Coaching, and one in Christian Ministry, an Honorary Doctorate in Theology, and a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision.
As an author, Dr. Taylor has completed and released two books, with many more works to come. Her writings reflect transparency, healing, spiritual growth, perseverance, and the transformative power of God.
Above all of her accomplishments, Dr. Taylor’s greatest desire is to see lives transformed through the power, presence, and truth of God.
Her favorite scripture is:
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
— Romans 8:18
