Dr. Anika Taylor is a devoted wife (Pastor Tyson Taylor), mother  and grandmother and founder of The Worship and Deliverance Center. Although raised in church, she gave her life to Christ  in August 1992. It was immediately that she felt the call of God on her life to preach. In February of 1993 she preached her first sermon titled “Cease Not” . After years of serving as a youth minister, secretary of minister alliances, youth president, on the usher board, as a Sunday school teacher, assistant pastor,  women’s ministry, and anywhere she could find her hands to work;   she answered the call to pastor. Dr. Taylor has been pastoring since February of 2008. She is a pastors after Gods own heart. She loves God's people and loves serving.

Dr. Taylor has achieved many accomplishments in spite of  the storms that she has faced. She is a entrepreneur. She owns many businesses. She has a Bachelors in Finance and Psychology, Masters in Pastoral Counseling: Life Coach and Christian Ministry, an Honorary Doctorate in Theology and a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision. She presently working on her Doctorate in Pastoral Leadership. She  is in the final completion of her first book of many, titled "I Must Need to Go Through Samaria." Dr. Taylor's greatest joy is being a mother to Tequisha and Marcus Jr. and a Gigi to Marcus III and Jazmyn Anika. 

 

 

Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:18 “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
